Is it possible to check how much an FE model match with its geometry in HyperMesh?

If possible, we could easily check if thickness of shell models was set correctly, for eaxmple.

You can find a first tool under Topology ribbon -> Edit section -> CAD/FE Comparison

Both the source and target entities can be set to geometry and or mesh. Once run, it returns you  color code with mismatching, overlapping and corresponding entities.

 

If you want to go further, you can go to Assembly ribbon, there are two tools (Verification and Comparison). Below are some videos about their usage:

That said, your requests takes as starting point the fact the thickness can be incoirrect.
