How to model a rectangular inductor with rounded corners?

Is there a straightforward way to model a multi-layered rectangular coil, with rounded edges?

I've started drawing the shape with lines and arcs, and then using the path sweep tool with a circle in order to build the coil along the lines drawn, but I found this method very inconvenient. Also, this resulted in rough (not smooth) transitions when drawing and connecting the cable from one layer to another.

I've managed to build the first layer which has 7 turns as an example. The final model should have 9 layers with 7 turns each.

Feko has a tool that allows to build an helix, but I could not find this tool to be helpful at all in order to solve this problem.

Also, is there a way to model the conductor and dielectric part of the cable using this method?

Thanks in advance.

As Feko doesn't have a rectangular helix option, the only way to do it would be with a combination of wires and arcs. To model the conductor and dielectric part, you can make a copy of the helical outline and do two path sweeps with two different radii on the two helical arcs and union the two path sweeps.
