Force Import

Hi,

I have a .csv file with nodes coordinates and forces (x,y,z,Fx,Fy,Fz) that I need to import in HM. I found 2 solutions:

  • Use Field > realize
  • BCs > Create > Forces > Linear Interpolation

Both take the .csv file as an input and apply its forces to the model.

What are the differences? What should I use?

    Hi Fedra,

     

    Field loads can interpoloate and extrapolate loads where as linear interpolation does not. For more information you refer to HyperMesh user guide.
