Market basket Analysis - ItemCount meaning

Hi everybody,
could anyone better explain the meaning of ItemCount in Market Basket Analysis template?

If Customer X buys in one transaction products A, B and C, what is the right input?

CustomerId | ItemId | ItemCount
X | A | 1
X | B | 1
X | C | 1

or

X | A | 1
X | B | 2
X | C | 3

or something else?
