[SOLVED] Join Issue

Hi,

I'm trying to Join 2 tables read from excel files.
The IDs are a mix of text and numbers for example:
893655A
6478465
635863A
In excel, both ID fields are formatted as text.

I've changed the "data set meta data information" on both the read operators to polynomial...then I tried text, numeric and a couple more.
Problem is that when I select "text" - only the IDs with the text suffix join i.e. 893655A and 635863A and not 6478465
When its numeric/nomial/polynomial ect ect only the number IDs join.

Any help would be much appreciated.
