Hi, I want to ask a question. I have a problem at the image. How can I solve that? This problem became at topology optimization module. I shared the program file. Thank you.image

    Hi,

     

    can you describe what are you trying to accomplish here?

    It looks like your densities have vanished. This is ussually associated to some issue in your optimization formulations that is forcing all densities to their minimum values.

     

    Can you describe how did you formulate your optimization problem (design variables, objective, design constraints) and more important, what are you trying to do, please?

     

    Also attaching the .out file is always helpful.

    Thank you very much, Mr. Koga. I created geometry and i wanted to create new topology geometry, but I got a mistake. My parameters;

    -20*20*20mm Cube (Bottom and top have one mm thickness nondesign area so design area is 20*20*18)

    - Material Inconel 718 ( E=168000, Yield Strength=980Mpa, Tensile Utilize Strength=1232 Mpa) 

    - Bottom surface is SPC, Top surface is uniform pressure (30Mpa)

    Topology Optimization Setup;

    - Stress Contain: 515Mpa (Safety Coefficient 1.9)

    -Max Mass Frac 0.5

    I want to get at the image (c) geometry.
