Process for coding free text data

Good morning,

I have data set that includes a free-text reason for (medical imaging) exam.  I am iinterested in tools/techniques for coding free text descriptions, - to effectively bucket them into groups.  I would also be interested in being able to do word frequency analysis, and look at the different "reason" words that are most common for different types of medical imaging procedures.  Are these things that Rapid-I can help me with?  Any suggestions as to where I might start?
