Acusolve : tutorial problem ACU-T3000_HotCylinder.hm

Hi,

i've taken the tutorial model ACU-T3000_HotCylinder.hm & tried to run acusolve.

i'm getting the error:

acuPrep: *** ERROR: Number of subdomains cannot be greater than the number of elements: reduce number of processors
acuPrep: Number of subdomains = 1
acuPrep: Number of elements = 0
acuPrep: *** ERROR: Error has occurred: terminate RUN

 

any ideas please?

i've not changed anything, just opened the tutorial .hm & exported the input.

then tried to run using the acusolve job launcher, should work!!

Hi Jasvinder,

Thanks for raising the question. The error shown in the description occurs when the 3D elements in the model are not defined as a solid/fluid medium. 

The input file provided along with the help documentation is only meant to be a starting point in the tutorial. In order to achieve the results shown in the tutorial, you will need to go through all the steps in the tutorial and set all the parameters accordingly.

Please follow the steps in the tutorial and let us know if the issue still persists.
