Acoustic analysis?

Hi experts,

I want to ask some questions:

1. How should we define the fluid size (ellipse size, sphere radius) for acoustic analysis? it is based on the distance between the microphone and the body center or not?
2. How should we use the wrapping method or meshing manual for the body?

Hi Brian,

you can use acoustic cavity mesher to create the fluid mesh both for interior and exterior acoustic problems:

This tool has the capability to adapt the mesh size to the frequency range of analysis. Depending on the location of the cavity (interior/exterior) and the b/cs you define, like IE, element size and number of layers can affect the accuracy of the solution.
