Text Mining: Extract particular number and Append

Hi,

I wanted to extract alphanumeric word from comments and then append it back in new column in file.

Can someone suggest how to do that?

Can you please be a bit more specific? Which kind of data do you have? Do you have data at all, or do you want to read it from the web? What exactly do you want to count?

Marius, I have some comments which has a serial number in it. I wanted to extract that out of comments and then write in a new column in front if it. Can you please help on it.
