What is causing this warning message stating Unexpected UDP entry found in simulation data file and discarded.

Why I am getting following warning? The values of energy from the simulation appears to be very high and not in accordance with range I used to get.

    Hi Atta,

The UDP is a 'user defined property'.  THis would typically occur if a simulation has been setup with a physics model that uses custom properties (e.g. EEPA or Bonding models use custom properties).  These properties get registered in the simulation file.

Then if the physics model is changed to one that doesn't use the registered property, EDEM just apples this warning that the custom property is registered, but not used.

So it shouldn't have any specific impact on the simulation or results, but I would double check the physics model you have set is the one you want/expect.

Otherwise high energy is typically due to high time-step value, lower timestep may help resolve this.

    Regards
