Airbag (shell)
Hi!
I studied the example from the link (https://2021.help.altair.com/2021/hwsolvers/rad/topics/solvers/rad/airbag_example_r.htm#airbag_example_r).
But I still could not understand how this folded model is created (Fig. 1). First, a model of a deflated airbag is created in Hypermesh, then it is folded in Hypercrash? In this case, what does the airbag look like before folding (deflated shell with separation into chambers)? Or is such a model created in Hypermesh completely?
I'm not really interested in an airbag, but just a shell that is inflated with gas, and I'm studying the question of how to fold it more rationally.

Hi
Regarding the model picture you shared, it is input for the example.
I would think that it was meshed from a geometry in the folded state.
There is this documentation of folding within HyperCrash.
