Error loading solidworks file when importing

I am experiencing some issues in opening the files in both Hypermesh and Optistruct. I have attached a screenshot of the error as well as the solidworks file and the ct_reader.msg file that the software is telling me to look at. I am not sure why this error persists, and I am not sure what to do about this. Thank you in advance.

You should check the SolidWorks versions supported by HyperMesh 14 version in the software help section. You cannot open a SolidWorks 2021 file in older HyperMesh versions.

I solved the error by exporting the cad model as a .step file instead of .SLDPRT and then imported the model from there.
