Hello all,

I am doing conversion job (LS Dyna to Optistruct). There are more than 400 components and 200000 elements. I converted all of them and gave run. Results were matched.

Then i have tried to renumber all the elements and components in that model. But after that it will give an error says

' *** ERROR # 1461 *** in the input data:

 Card 'LOAD' is not allowed for this subcase type.'

I defined Global case control card with below parameters.

ANALYSIS = MODE

FREQ = EIGRL

LOAD = SPC

SPC = SPC

If i delete  this card it is running. I don't know what is the problem. I deleted loadsteps and control cards and created new loadsteps and control cards. But still it is giving same error.I except the solution for this problem

    Hi,

    I hope you are running Modal Analysis. Hence External load is not required to run modal analysis.Delete LOAD from your loadstep and run.

    Regards

    Hi Udhay,

    You are referencing SPC for the LOAD field in the loadstep.

    If you are running a normal modes analysis, remove the LOAD.

    If it is a modal analysis, refer to the correct load (force, pressure, etc...)

    Thanks for your reply Prakash.

    I removed that card and ran the model. It is running.

    And previously i renumbered the Load step id also. Now i changed the load step id and it is running properly.

    Thank you once again for your solutions Rahul and Prakash.

    Hi Prakash,

    Will it affect the results if control card is not defined for this modal analysis?

    Hi Suresh,

    Which control card are you refering to?

    Control cards consits of a bunch of param cards, output request cards, solver parameter cards, etc...

    So, depends on which card(s) you use.

    Hi @Willow_07

    If you are trying to assign a punch file, please make sure you are referring to right file.

    This error points to invalid syntax while referring to punch file.
