About nonlinearities in Transient,frequency response and random response analysis

Hello Everyone,

I have read somewhere that frequency response and Random Response analysis is a linear analysis. So what if I have to perform an frequency analysis of a component with material nonlinearity?

Also can anyone clarify more about Random response analysis. I have read the tutorial for that but I have to be clear about the inputs which we give. I have a PSD curve and I have to perform random analysis of that.

We request you to refer Practical finite element analysis book written by Nitin Gokhale and Optistruct user guide for more details.

Nonlinear Implicit Dynamic Transient is Coming up in 14.0..:-)

Not sure if a PSD input can be taken into account as it will be frequency dependent.
