Hexmesh of fillets
Hello Everyone,
It seems easy but I am bit confused about meshing for 3d fillets as highlighted in the attached figure. If I want to do Hexmesh how can I do it along with this fillets? (I don't want to 'defeature' them)

Hello Q.NGUYEN-DAI,
thank you for the help, but my model has more than 100 fillets. Is there any shortcut for this process or it is to be performed manually every time?

Hi,
More than 100 fillets with hexa mesh? Good luck to you /emoticons/default_smile.png' alt=':)' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' width='20' height='20'>
No way to do that automatically.
Why you need hexa mesh for this case?

/emoticons/default_sad.png' alt=':(' srcset='/emoticons/sad@2x.png 2x' width='20' height='20'>
My Problem requirement is in that fashion . I have to check results using higher order tetra and hex elements.
thanks for the tip.

That's no sense for an academic work with more than 100 fillets with hex-meshing.

Hi All,
If the fillet size and shape are identical, copy and positioning the elements may reduce some work load.
