Hello everyone,

I have done analysis on rubber material in optistruct using MATHE card with stretch stress curves.

I want to analysis in radioss for such material. what are the cards needed for this? (I have seen MAT42 and MAT69. Out of which mat69 says you can define stress strain curve with a function. How do I define this function. How can i define for tensile and compressive curve?)

What other precautions should I take if I only have stress strain curve and values of mu and alpha are unavailable?

regards,

Bharat

    Hi,

LAW69 is pure hyperelastic. For what type of application you are looking for rubber material?

    Hello Rahul,

    Sorry for late reply,

I am trying to simulate a condition in which my rubber component is compressed to 30% of it's total length. (Large disp. Condition).

How can I define hyperelastic condition for this case? Also can I merge Compressive and tensile stress strain curve into one curve(I.e. From third quadrant to first)?

    Regards and Thanks,
