Shock analysis

Hello Everyone,

 

I have a load curve for few miliseconds in terms of acceleration. I have to find the shock being transmitted through the body in terms acceleration. So is it correct to use transient analysis in Optistruct? or should I go with explicit using Radioss?

Hi Bharat,

 

Since the time period is very very less, I think Explicit analysis may be good enough.
