Using Pretension manager

Hello Everyone

 

I have been trying to use pretension manager in which I gave the value of pretension on the contact surface as 20 (just for trial)

I am using MPA system for units. This was followed by a static subcase.

 

During results I found that deflection due to preload is much higher( of the order of 10e5). I reduced the load value to 2 still the deflection was of the order 10e3.

 

 I have checked my model and everything is fine (load,constraints etc).

 

Can anyone tell me what is the solution for this problem?

    I am sorry to say that I can not share the out file with you.

     

    But I will define the problem briefly. For trying to use the pretension manager I have taken a simple rectangular block of arbitrary dimensions. Defined a contact surface on the faces of the elements which are below the top surface of the block. In pretension manager I have defined forces and all other things. For the value of 50N in pretension manager i got displacement of around 10e7, and for force of 10e-10, I received a disp. of e-3.
