RapidMiner suitable for analysis on email survey results ?

Hi,

I am a real newbie, I discovered RapidMiner recently and I wonder if it is the right tool
to set up a data analysis process in the context of an email survey.


basically, I want to send mails with YES or NO questions.
And use datamining/textmining technology to analyse results and get some charts if possible.

Hi, Bruno.

of course, RM is built for data mining purposes

but in your case,I think it's no need to do a data mining task, if you only want some charts as the outcome,
you just only to model your data just like this

ID        Q1        Q2          Q3....
1.        yes        no            no
2.          no        no            yes
.....

what you need is just only load your data on RM, then view it.
you can use your preferred plot provided by rapidminer.
