Hi all,

 

Does species setting such as tutorial 9: Honey in tea can be apply to gaseous for example Carbon Monoxide and air?

 

And, can or not species use to calculate the percentage or concentration of gas?

 

E.g:

gas A and gas B.

species 0.0 = A

species 1.0 = B

 

then, if contour plot show species 0.5. Means that gas A = 50% and gas B = 50%.

 

Am I right?

Since CO and air are miscible, multi species approach would work out.

For post processing, probably Iso Contour would make more sense to visualize the volume (3D), instead of contour plot in 2D.
