"Should Date/Time be converted, for algorithm working with only numeric values?"

There are some cases where the non-numeric attributes have to be converted to numeric, because the algorithm works only with the numeric values. Do we have to convert the Date/Timestamp fields also in such cases?

Date/Timestamp fields are numerical internally, you don't have to convert them.
