MATX27 Elastic-plastic brittle
Hello. I need help. How do I configure the simulation of a matx27 material in hypermesh? I don't know how to configure the load step expdyn subcase, what do I do? I need a tutorial, please.

Hi Joao,
Can you confirm which solver you are using?
Are you looking for Explicit analysis tutorial in Optistruct?
Thanks

Hi Rajashri Saha, thanks for your feedback.I'm using the optistruct solver.I already looked, but I didn't find a tutorial, I didn't know how to do it.Can you help me. thanks.0

What kind of material is MAT27? Is it from Radioss?
If you are looking for plastic material in Optistruct you can define MATS1 which is under MAT1 card.
In this you can define stress-strain curve of the material and this comes under material non-linearity.
Refer the below link.

Thanks

Rajashri, thank you for your attention.
Modeling as MATS1 perfect plastic does not serve my purpose, I need to consider a decrease in stress after deformation, MATS1 does not allow a decreasing curve.
If you look at MAT1, and MATS1, after them you will find MATX, by clicking on it you can select MATX27, this is the material I want to model.
However, it asks me for a subcase called expdyn, so I don't know how to configure this subcase, which is what I'm asking for help with.
I'm using the Optistruct solver, I know that Optistruct integrates with Radioss to solve this type of material, but I don't know how to configure it.
Thanks.

Can you share the link for MATX27?
expdyn as correctly identified by you is the explicit dynamic analysis in Optistruct which is in integration with Radioss.
The loadstep set should be like below.
Refer the below link for more info.

I checked MATX27 and looks like this is the material you are looking for.
