Hello,

I am working on wheel disc optimization, how can I set my stiffness constraint without using the displacement constraint? For example, I have a existing model with the displacement 0.3 mm and now I defined a new design space but would like to have the same stiffness as before. So how can I set it? Also please tell me about (Objective reference > Compliance > Pos reference).

 

secondly please tell me how to run a batch optimization?

Compliance is inverse of Stiffness; so if you say Minimize Compliance (or weighted) – then it will try to increase Stiffness (global

Try with Minimize (weighted/total/regional) compliance With constrained (total/regional) volume/mass fraction.
