To launch nFXc in tandem with nFX on a local linux machine, make sure you have TandemInterpolation set to TRUE. Also, when using Tandem Interpolation note that the paths should be to the working (scratch) directory where nFX is running, not the stage (storage) directory. It’s easiest to use relative paths in the .cfg.
nFX and nFXc are launched separately, so the command for submitting the nFX job doesn’t change.
There is a message in the output file during the run initialization about the FIFO communicator being established, then you can run nFXc (It’s safest to wait for the nFX run to start the timesteps) Then to submit nFXc use:
nFXc --nfx example.cfg
