NI 9411 can not run in real time

Hi Team,

I try to capture the encoder signal by my NI 9411 DI device and export the .csv, but it can not run in real time even setting the time step as low as 10k still doesn't work. I need to get the encoder signal (period about 24us ) accurately so that I can study the subtle movements of the motor. Please tell me how to set up to solve this problem. By the way, can I implement the same question in the eQEP function? Thank you very much.

Embed uses NI DAQmx software to communicate to boards.

NI 9411 is a C series device and is not supported by NI DAQmx directly. I cannot make simulated NI 9411. NI specs say that there is NI DAQmx driver for this device. If you can properly configure everything with NI DAQmx driver then you should be able to get the signal. First question is if you can get any signal. If yes, then the second question is what speed of getting data can be achieved. Your dialog box picture shows that the device is recognized.

Try to connect the digital in block to a plot first. You'll understand better what is going on. Then you can try export block.

The closest match which can be simulated is 9421. This simulated device can handle 10 khz.
