EDEM - Adams Tutorial - Screw Propeller

Through this introductory tutorial we will learn how to set up a coupled EDEM-Adams simulation using Adams 2019. The exercise is directed at beginners who have not run an EDEM-Adams coupling before.

This model uses a screw propeller that travels through a bed of material based on the forces from the bulk material. The main focus
is on:

• Setting up an Adams simulation for Co-Simulation.
• Creating the co-simulation file for the Adams Co-Simulation Interface.
• Generating the EDEM material bed and exporting the deck for the simulation.
• Running a coupled simulation.
