Valid buried cable simulation
Greetings, I am an electrical engineering student and new to FEKO software. I need to simulate a buried conductor. This cable should be ground copper with considered resistivities. What is the best way to simulate conditions of this kind? How do I set up the mediums (ground, air, copper cable) properly?

To define a real ground, have a look at Example Guide example A-05, Yagi Uda above real ground.
You can define the wire with height below the ground surface.
To define a lossy metal, see example A.2.2 Dipole and Lossy Metal Cube.

I am now stuck on how to add a wire and energize it
Here is a print of where I left off. I saw someone modeling in FEKO a coaxial cable with cylinders. I don't know what the best method for simulating an electrode. I am trying to simulate the behavior of an electrode when receiving a lightning strike.
