which is most preferable for respective type of optimization like topology, topography, free size and shape.

Which algorithm is used in the case of a combined optimization (e.g., topology + size optimization)? Are they solved separately using different algorithms?
this is a good question. I can't tell for sure, but i believe when topology is active, then its algorithms will prevail, due to the number of desvars.
