Adhesive modelling

Hello All,

I am trying to model an adhesive in between two shell layers for an explicit simulation in Radioss. I have made the adhesive using Bulk data format (using connectors---areas---mid thickness)of Radioss for getting the Hexa shaped elements as adhesives and assigned material property of M59_connect and PSOLID material property to the hexa elements of adhesive. I can see rbe3 elements getting automatically connected between the adhesive and the shell layer . I need a tie contact there and thus an RBE 3 element is required.

Other option which I have is to make the contact between the adhesive and the shell layers as type 2 but I also want to give the nodes of adhesive and component as slave and thus I get a warning of incompatible kinematic conditions. Can we go for adhesive modelling (Hexa elements) in radioss block also and also how to make the contact between shell and adhesive as tie?
