Triad Server Set-Up

Please use the procedure described below to set-up a Triad Server.


The license file needs to be named altair_lic.dat and then place in the licensing 14.5 folders on all the three servers


  • Uncomment the below lines in altair-serv.cfg file and mention the server hostnames as shown in the snapshot.

  • If configured for one server, the same configuration file - altair-serv.cfg can be copied to other servers in the same location. You need to first delete the current configuration file and copy it.
  • Once done Restart the services in a sequential manner- Server 1, Server 2 and Server 3.



Please have the following environment variables set exactly as below under system variables.


VARIABLE NAME:  ALTAIR_LICENSE_PATH

VARIABLE VALUE: 6200@SERVER1;6200@SERVER2;6200@SERVER3

 

P.S: Server name or IP address refers to the license server machine’s name or IP address.


Make sure there are no spelling mistakes either in the variable name or server name and are case sensitive.

The environment  variables are to be set only under the system variables
