How to create a Force vs Displacement curve in HyperGraph

One frequent question on HyperGraph is how to create a Force vs Displacement curve.
By default, HyperGraph uses the time vector for the x-axis.

We can also use other results for the x-axis.
For example, displacements to plot a force versus displacement curve.

To do this:

Open a result file in HyperGraph, via Menu, Icon, or Drag and Drop

Select a Force as Y source

Select Displacement as X source

image


Press plot to create the curve
