To simulate internal heat generation in a chamber

Hi,

I am having a steel cage structure and an explosive being placed inside the same. There are two combined aspects here, one is thermal loading due to explosion and other is the impact of the particles on the interior of the cage with high velocities. I want the cage to withstand both these scenarios.

I have input of energy release and was trying to think of running an optistruct run to understand the cage behaviour. Kindly let me how can this be simulated in optistruct.
