No Restart File error during impact analysis

Dear All,

 

Currently i am working on the Impact analysis of the kevlar fiber which gets hits by bullet,while solving i got the Error as NO RESTART FILE.Kindly provide your guidelines.

    Hi All,

     

    I am trying to assign the material properties of kevlar fibre to the shell element of thickness .57mm

    Properties of  Kevlar fabric known

     

    Density (g/cm3) 1.44

    Modulus (GPa)  71.00

    PRXY 0.20

     

    In law 58 there are lot of input parameters are there what are they???

     

     

    Kindly provide your guidelines

    Hi,

    Please note that in Radioss 13.0 we have new options for LAW58.

    • non-linear stress/strain curve input for direction 1, 2, and shear
    • different FLEX parameters for different directions
    • fully integrated membranes for law58 to avoid hourglasing

    I have attached userguide of Mat LAW58 for your refernce.

    Ram,

     

    There are no engine parameters in your model file. Please define engine parameters and check.

    Dear Sir,

     

    I have remeshed the model and reduced the model to node lessthan 10000 for compatible with HW 13.0 Students edition and solved the model in Radioss ,the model get solved but the simulation is not proper the bullet is not get fired ,it is in stable position. kindly mention the error which i had done in my model ,since i get correct it and gets run the model which was developed in HW 12.0.

    Ram,

     

     

    There are modelling errors.

     

    Please correct them. Contact definition is not correct and also specify the right velocity

    Am receiving error as , Missing 'NORMAL TERMINATION' in output file.

    Hi,

    Please check the output block defined in the model.

    The error says that no variable is defined  for the Rail /TH group.

    Keep Num_Variables as 1 and give the variable as DEF so that all default outputs will be extracted.
