Dear All,

I am working on Rollover analysis of the bus model and it contains 10 lakh elements. I am trying to apply Angular velocity through Initial velocity around an axis option, but the system seems to be not responding for more time and it is not generating. Kindly provide guidelines.

Thanks

RAM

You can also try using HyperCrash by assigning /INIVEL/AXIS card. Select type as AXIS.

    Dear Prakash & George,

Thanks for your valuable guidelines. I have applied the angular velocity to my model and the simulation starts running but the remaining time for solving shows larger (2361000 secs).

    What to do?

    Thanks

    Ram

Check the time step in out file. Can you share the .out file

Did you impose any time step?

    Hi Ram,

There are many penetrations in the model. Even though the time step is not too low in the out file but interfaces will create issues during run.

For an interface, the gap of the interface must be verified if some failure happens on the master or the slave side of the interface.

Please clear the penetrations and re-check the contact created,
