Closing polyNURBS holes with Edge bridge and Close Hole

In this article we will look two commonly used tools for closing holes in PolyNURBS geometry.

• Edge Bridge
• Close Hole

Edge Bridge: Create a birdge face across two open edges.

1. Select PolyNURBS object.
2. Go to Edges mode (S)
3. Use 'N' to toggle Nurbify (helps with complex models)
4. Holding Ctrl, select two open edges
5. Right click - Bridge (Alt+B)

Close Hole: Create an 'n' sided face using closed edges as input (minimum 3 edges)

1. Select PolyNURBS object.
2. Select Close Hole tool
3. Select one of the edges part of a closed loop
