Hi everyone !

I'm trying to performe an axis symmetric analysis, but i'm having trouble for defining the PLOADX1 (pressure):

The result works but I get much too big deformation, as if the pressure was multiplied by the number of elements (or the surface).
is it possible to apply the pressure on the edge directly?
Best,

Axel

    Hello,

Yes, you can create the loads on edges directly

    Hi Jason,

Thx you for your reply, and sorry for my late feedback… I'm still trying to put this axisymetric pressure, on edge this time, but with the same "intensity" problem… Do you have any information about the PLOADX1 definition ? How can be sure about the Mpa (pressure) used ?

    Regards,

    Axel

    Hello Axel,

Yes, you can find it in the Optistruct Help Documentation

    https://help.altair.com/hwsolvers/os/topics/solvers/os/pload1x_bulk_r.htm?zoom_highlight=ploadx1

    Hi,

I already find this page, and the only thing that I not undestand is this :

Maybe the problem is not from the pressure loads but the axis symmetric elements definition…

Can you check the .fem & .h3D files ?

    Regards,

    Axel
