Good evening guys,

I am trying to model a composite structure with delamination capabilities by using Prop/type17. Even though I am reading that it entails the capabilities of plyxfem and to determine interply material by the flag Mint_IDi . Those two flags are not visible. Does anyone has faced the same problem? Is there a chance that are not visible by my model setut of they should have been visible by default. I am attaching the respective file.

Thx.

    Hi,

looks like the plyxfem functionality is still in beta version so it can only be set up manually with text editor.

    from Radioss help:

    Plyxfem formulation

    • The plyxfem formulation is activated using the Plyxfem flag. It used to describe the delamination between plies.
    • Once plyxfem is activated (Plyxfem=2) then an interply material (Minterply) must be defined between each ply.
    • This interply material must use LAW1 with Ladeveze failure criteria (/FAIL/LAD_DAMA) for delamination.
    • This option is in the beta stage.
