Hi

 

How do i do to create  DESVAR and generic relashionship to different materials (>200 materials? ) in  Size Optimization? I'll  need to create DESVAR  and geneneric relationship for each one(200 materials) ?

Do you have tutorial about Size Optimization (Young's Modulus) E for differents materials?

    I don't know the use case or application for multiple material in size optimization.Attached is two setup for size optimization with stiffness & thickness parameter.

    I think if you have objective to do size optimization for five different material then you need to create design variable property relationship five times manually.

     

    Note: Multiple-Material Topology Optimization is available from optistruct 2017.1 version.
