Overview

The script first searches for any component with "_ALTAIR" in the name. If the component does not have "_ALTAIR" in the name, the component will be deleted from the model. If the component does contain "_ALTAIR" in the name, the name of the component will be shortened to include only the alpha-numeric values before "_ALTAIR". The script will then create a master connector file (MCF) based on information specified in a *.csv file. In the last step of the script, HyperMesh will import the created *.mcf files to import the spot connectors.

Usage/Installation Instructions

This script is intended to be an example only. The script will not operate without appropriate component names in model and csv files with spot weld information. If you have any questions regarding the script, please feel free to contact the author of the script.

 

Limitation

Only works for spot weld creation.
