Overview
This script finds all nodes in a user-defined distance to selected geometric lines, and creates separate sets for them.
Current version defined for Solver profiles OptiStruct, Radioss, Radioss-incremental / HyperForm.
For Radioss-incremental / HyperForm constraints will be created at nodes instead of sets.
The script uses temporary geometric solid creation in the background for subsequent node search.
Pre-Requisite
Model needs geometric lines for selection and structural mesh with nodes to be found by distance.
Usage/Installation Instructions
Run script e.g. from DropDown File > Load > Script
Select lines:
Enter search radius:
Sets are created with found nodes:
