Material Orient Rotate

In HyperMesh you can not rotate shell material orientation. For example, please imagine a curved mesh. You can project a direction on the mesh and make whole mesh material orientation goes the direction. But you cannot easily rotate the angle of each element in HyperMesh. For more detail, element A has 15.0degree as theta, element C has 25.0 and element D has 30.0,,,,,,. You want to rotate them 45.0 degree. You have to modify element A to 60.0, modify element B to 70.0, and modify element C to 75.0,,,,,,,. You need long time to finish the whole model. This script helps you in such a case. You select shell elements and type additional angle to rotate, then you can get the whole rotated model. 日本語 材料座標系を回転させることができます。要素を選んで、追加の回転角をタイプすれば、CQUAD/CTRIA の Theta に角度が追加されます。

Limitation
Nastran, Optistruct and Radioss only. CQUAD4, CQUADR, CTRIA3, CTRIAR only. If MCID is used instead of Theta, this script doesn't do anything.
