I m trying to determine modal characteristics of the alumina plate such as mode shape, modal frequencies numerically.

but obtained results and experimental results are different by %20.

material constants and dimensions are same.

boundary conditions clamped - free free free (CFFF)

what is a problem I don't know,

thank you for suggestions

best regards

the basics of modal analysis is stiffness and mass.

So in order to check, i would check if the mass of the plate is correct, compared to real world.

If the mass is correct, then material properties. They can change a little bit, but not so much.

Another important thing: How are you modelling your boundary conditions? And how are you modelling the interfaces/bolts, etc?

These will affect stiffness of your model, thus frequency.

    Dear @Adriano A. Koga

clearly, I neglected bolt and other interactions

    I consider bc only constraint

    model was attached

    please help me

    best regards
