Hypermesh_unable to add load collector

Hello! I am trying to model a simple cantilever beam in hypermesh and experiencing trouble when adding a load collector. The error message says "Only a single Create/Edit window is supported at a time, do you want to close the current window before proceeding?" However, I do not have another Create/Edit window open. Does anyone know what might be causing the problem?
