New Release: Mistral 2022.2.0
Mistral 2022.2.0 has been released.
This new version include the GA release of the new back end to Mistral, previous only available as a beta feature. This new back end includes significant performance improvement. Customers upgrading to this version of Mistral should use the templates supplied and should copy in their site settings to templates as guided by the documentation.
In addition to the performance gains, Mistral Contracts have been removed and replaced with a new YAML configuration file. This file makes it much easier to tune Mistral settings. For a sample configuration file please see the samples directory in the Mistral installation.
Mistral also now has a tighter integration with Altair Grid Engine 2022.1.0 through a new Mistral mode. Mistral can now be configured to be always on or enabled on demand easily through Grid Engine execd_param settings. For more information please see the Mistral or Grid Engine Documentation.
