Altair One HPC: Unlimited Computing with Altair Units

Altair One is a grand commencement of Altair's own convergence onto a single platform serving engineers and admins to create, compute, and collaborate. Until now, Altair One has been synonymous with Marketplace to download the latest software packages and product documentation, but there is much more to it.

Altair One ^TM provides on-demand computing ability to its users on the Jobs and Session app. These turnkey appliances are capable of running workloads on all Altair Solvers and provide remote visualization for Altair Interactive Applications with Altair Managed Licensing (Submit Jobs and Launch Remote Sessions) With an additional checkout of units for cloud consumption, customers can leverage Altair's cloud resources without having to worry about costs, reservations, and utilization. Simple, intuitive, and familiar workflows let the user store and manage data in Altair Drive, which also becomes a portal to all their computing and visualization needs with a click of a button. We have always believed in letting our users do more with the revolutionary Altair Unit model. Managed licenses cater to the diverse application needs of users in their on-premise location but also provide additional value to them with the ability of unlimited consumption through the units. This interchangeability adds to the existing power of versatile units and the large pools of applications that come with it.

In addition to Altair-managed default Jobs and Session App, with the right license features Admin users can create and manage private appliances (Create an Appliance) for their teams and share these custom resources within their company using NavOps. Altair partners with all major cloud service providers allowing admins to create resources on demand and expand their computational power using the future-ready SaaS offering. These customer self-service appliances are integrated with Altair Drive and come with the free Access UI and a built-in PBS Professional workload manager.
