Training Objectives:​​

  • Learn how to use Altair HyperWorks for Designing Composites to set-up and post-process laminate composite models including loading conditions.

  • Investigate the power of integrating manufacturing considerations into FEA analysis of laminate composites

  • Realize the power of composite optimization processes applied to the orientations and layup of laminate composite parts.

  • It includes work-along examples for OptiStruct and Radioss setup as well as keys for modeling with several different solvers.
