Intuitive and Rapid Entity Editing with Model, Subsystem and Connector Browsers
Altair EmployeeEver wondered how to efficiently review and interrogate all entities in your complex simulation model via Model Browser? Prior to the introduction of the enhanced Model Browser in Altair HyperWorks™ 2020.1, you were out of luck.
Model browser now displays all entities in the model, including frequently requested entities like nodes and elements, which are now grouped logically via solver sub-type. Entity specific views at the model, include or subsystem level facilitate intuitive bulk review and editing of attributes.
Striving for consistency and efficiency, our updated Model Browser paradigm now underpins our newly refreshed Connector and Subsystem browsers in Altair HyperWorks™ 2021.1.
Model Browser

Subsystem Browser
Find out about key workflow enhancements, including a completely redesigned Subsystem Browser. Headline features include Review, Representation comments and graphics-driven context menus.
Subsystems facilitate system level model build and offer representation, revision, and load case management, and can also be used to logically organize simulation models.
Subsystem browser has been updated to adhere to Model Browser paradigms and now lists all entities including nodes, elements, and loads. Subsystem contents are now grouped by solver sub-type and can be reviewed in entity specific views.

Connector Browser
Completely redesigned in Altair HyperWorks™️ 2021.1 with focus on usability and simplicity, Connector Browser leverages the performance and functionality of Model Browser to allow users efficiently manage their connectors.
Reworked to maximize vertical space, Connectors are listed by type in tabs. Connector Links are now shown in a split-pane view to easily review Link types, Subsystems and Connector Groups.
Any Connector attribute can be added as column, which in turn facilitates the usage of rich column filtering to review or edit specific Connectors. The Link has been refactored to allow selection, addition, replacement and of Parts.
