Abstract
Electric vehicles have been discussed so often in recent days, maybe even more in times of bad air quality and rising prices for gasoline and diesel. Electric cars might not bring the solution for all problems, but they can take us another step down the road towards a bright and green future.
Apart from the energy source and the drive technology it is obvious, that the need for energy will rise in coming years and decades. Developing nations desire to reach the same standard of living as the industrialised countries. The number of vehicles will rise and so the energy consumption,
not only in the mobility sector.
