Panopticon 2020.2 Now Available
Panopticon 2020.2 is now available to all licensed users and we recommend that all customer organizations plan your upgrade now. Click here to read the release notes for complete details on changes in this new version.
Here's a high-level summary of the changes in Panopticon 2020.2:
- Data Tables: Our new data table editing environment supports multi-key joins, data table schema management, designation of default aggregation methods, and improved handling for calculated columns.
- Localization: All user- and admin-facing UIs may now be localized as needed and includes support for 16-bit characters.
- Server: We have improved clustering functions with addition of automatic dynamic leader election. The administrative UI is also easier to use and we have replaced the legacy client-server communications library (Atmosphere).
- Stream Processing: Panopticon's event processing engine now supports hierarchical storage of stream processing applications and associated data sources (with proper authorization). We have also added clustering capabilities to the engine.
- Data Visualizations: All visualization now allow users to zoom in and out as needed, and users can now incorporate series line and needle graphs in table visualizations.
- Analytics: We have improved the way parameterization and action controls are presented and handed in the system.
- Connectivity: We have added new Confluent ksqlDB snapshot and streaming connectors.
